Cutter is a beautiful , foundation bred AQHA 10 year old, 15.3 Hd Dun gelding with nice thick bone and big black feet. This is a well-trained, gentle gelding that has been used for all ranch horse chores. He has done everything on the ranch from dragging and doctoring calves, gathering cattle and has been used in the branding pen, sorting and branding calves. In the arena Cutter has a good one hand neck rein, moves off leg cues, has a comfortable jog and will lope out on cue. Takes his leads, has a good stop and will side pass over to work the gates. He has been outstanding to ride around our busy neighborhood streets as well as out on our mountain trails. He handles all that we ride past in our neighborhood very well including the fast passing vehicles, farm animals, bicycles, and the dogs that run up barking at us. Cutter is equally solid to ride out on our rugged mountain trails. He navigates steep rocky terrain very well and is sure footed. He will lead, follow, ride quietly in any position of a group as well as out on his own. Crosses the river, creeks, trail bridge and downed timber. This is a good natured and friendly gelding that would be an asset to have on the ranch and on the trails. Cutter is 100% sound and has no bad habits. We have put shoes on him but he’s fine without them. Good to tie, tack, mount, shoe, bathe, load and haul. Pretty is and pretty does!
