Indy is an exceptionally gentle and good natured 19 year old, 15.1+ hand Sorrel/Tobiano gelding that’s very sound and well trained. This is a beginner friendly horse that anyone can ride and get along with. In the arena he will have a nice easy to sit slow jog and lopes out on cue. He has an easy, smooth lope. Great stop backs soft and will side pass with ease to open and close the gates. Indy is rock solid to ride out anywhere, from busy neighborhood streets to our mountain trails he is a solid citizen. When riding around the neighborhood he is unconcerned with fast passing vehicles of all kinds, barking charging dogs, farm animals, and landscaping equipment, such as Weed whackers, lawnmowers, etc. He will peacefully walk by with zero concerns. He is equally solid to ride out on the trails. Will lead, follow, ride peacefully in any position of a group as well as out on his own. Crosses the river, creeks, dead fall, and is just a really good safe horse to trail ride on. He has wonderful, ground manners, is great about his feet and stands tied quietly for brushing tacking and mounting. Good to bathe and stands tied quietly. Loads and hauls great. Indy would make a great family trail horse or lesson Horse. He is very user-friendly to ride and work with. This horse is very sweet. He loves people and attention.
