Cody is a super cute, well put together grade 5-year-old 14.3 hand smoky buckskin gelding that is very gentle and good natured. He neck reins well and is smooth to ride. Has a good one hand neck rein, takes his leads, has a good stop, back soft and moves off your leg for side passing to open and close the gates. This horse is super solid to ride out anywhere. He is settled and solid riding around our busy neighborhood streets and is unconcerned about all that we ride past. From fast, passing vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and trucks to the local mini farm animals and the neighborhood dogs. Cody is equally outstanding to ride out on the trails. He is very relaxed and settled with navigating Rocky water crossings as well as steep mountain terrain. He quietly leads, follows, rides respectfully in a group or out alone. Crosses the river, small creeks, down timber, and the trail bridges with confidence and ease. Cody spent time on a ranch and has some ranch roping experience and has also been healed on some out of the box. He has sorted and gathered cattle and has done all the Ranch horse chores. This is a very friendly and good natured gelding that always aims to please. He gets along great turned out with other horses and you can catch him wherever you find him if he doesn’t find you first. Good to bathe, tie, mount, shoe, load and haul. He is stout made with good confirmation. Cody is 100% safe, sane and sound and is exceptionally good minded and gentle gelding.
